Alexandre Lamblot founded his eponymous Champagne estate in 2013 in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, in the Côte des Blancs, Champagne. Lamblot trained in viticulture and oenology at Reims and spent several years assisting established growers across the Montagne de Reims and Côte des Blancs before returning to manage the family holdings. The estate now comprises 5 hectares of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, including parcels in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Cramant, and Avize, some over 50 years old. Vineyards are farmed organically with low intervention practices, emphasizing soil vitality, biodiversity, and careful canopy management. Grapes are hand-harvested, sorted meticulously, and vinified with indigenous yeasts. Lamblot uses a combination of stainless steel, neutral oak barrels, and occasional small foudres, with long lees ageing to enhance texture and aromatic complexity. Wines are bottled unfined and unfiltered with minimal sulphur, resulting in Champagnes that are precise, mineral-driven, and expressive of their individual terroirs.

Les Cochènes 2020 is sourced from a south-facing Chardonnay parcel in Avize with shallow chalk over clay soils. The 2020 season provided excellent ripeness with high natural acidity. Hand-harvested grapes were fermented with indigenous yeasts in neutral oak, followed by extended lees ageing. The wine shows fine white fruit, almond, and saline minerality, with tension and lift characteristic of Avize Chardonnay.
