Suertes del Marqués is a family winery that has been producing wines since 2006. Located in the north of the island of Tenerife, in Valle de La Orotava, a valley within the town of the same name. Without losing sight of the respect for tradition, a cornerstone of their winery philosophy, Suertes del Marqués minimizes artificial interference in the production of their wines. They opt to work with indigenous yeasts, eschew racking, and employ only minimal amounts of sulfur in their wines.
All processes in the cellar are carried out by hand, from vineyard work to harvest. They steer clear of systemic treatments in the vineyard, resorting to natural products only when vine diseases eventually arise.
From three parcels El Barranco, La Solana and El Ciruelo, between 350 meters and 520 meters above sea level on volcanic soils, grown on ungrafted vines with more than a 100 old. The wine shows an electric palate with a stony texture, with very clean and focused flavors and great length. This is probably the best Palomino out there.

Winemaking Manual harvest, destemmed, part direct press in concrete, fermentation with indigenous yeast in old 500lt oak barrels, followed by a partially malolactic fermentation in the same vessel. Aged for 10 months in 25hl foudres. Little sulphur added at bottling, unfiltred and unfined.
