Balgera is a very traditional winery, works only with indigenous yeasts, with very large old barrels and makes light, delicate wines designed for ageing.
450 was made in both 2013 and 2014 but was not released for sale until Balgera were happy with the results of their experimentations, the 2015 represents the first of this wine to leave Lombardy. The concept of the 450 is to be fresh and young without losing the elegance and the balance that are characteristic of Balgeras wines.
Pale garnet colour. Delicate aromas of plums, ripe cherries and
dried herbs. The palate delivers red berries, crushed stones and light spice,
developing note s of leather and tobacco. Nice bite of balancing acidity ensures a fresh finish.
