Rudolf Fürst is a highly respected Burgundian style Pinot Noir producer based in Bürgstadt in the Franken region of Germany. The estate has been in the Fürst family for generations, and today Rudolf and his team focus on low yields, careful canopy management, and precise, restrained winemaking. Their approach is rooted in showing the natural character of the vineyards rather than producing overtly fruity or manipulated wines, resulting in Pinot Noir that combines elegance, balance, and clarity of site.
The Pinot Noir Tradition 2022 comes from selected village parcels planted on limestone and clay soils that provide structure, freshness, and a fine mineral backbone. The 2022 vintage was warm but balanced, producing wines with bright red cherry and raspberry aromatics, subtle earthiness, silky tannins, and a persistent finish that highlights the nuance and finesse of Fürst’s vineyards.
