Originally trained in law, Manfredi discovered his true calling through gastronomy and wine, a passion that grew during his years in Rome and Milan. In 2020, he returned home to Marsala to begin making his own wines, securing just 1.5 hectares in Ciavolo with the support of Vincenzo Argileri of Vitead Ovest. A south-east facing vineyard, planted with 35–40-year-old vines, is a mosaic of varieties, all farmed organically on sandy-clay soils in a warm Mediterranean climate. From this small site come wines that feel both modern and distinctly Mediterranean: a white combining salinity, freshness and gentle oxidative nuance, and a red that is bright, juicy and elegant, offering versatility without heaviness.
A white wine built around the balance between lightness and depth. The nose is fresh and delicate, offering notes of hay, salted lemon, almond, and a subtle herbal thread. On the palate, it is taut and agile and an effortless drinkability that nonetheless leaves a clear impression: finesse, salinity, and a gently rustic vibration that gives rhythm and energy. An essential, vibrant wine that speaks of sunlight, dry breezes, and hands that listen to the land.
