Elian da Ros is a producer based in the Côtes du Marmandais of the South‑West of France, an appellation that sits just east of Bordeaux along the Garonne. After studying viticulture and oenology in Alsace, Elian returned to his family’s vineyards in the late 1990s and has since developed the estate into a respected organic and biodynamic farm of around 19–22 hectares planted on limestone, clay‑limestone and gravel soils. The domaine works with a mix of classic and regional varieties, and its wines reflect a commitment to minimal intervention and expressive fruit.
Le Vin est Une Fête Rouge 2023 is a vibrant and sociable red from this southern appellation, blending Abouriou (a traditional local variety) with Cabernet Franc and Merlot. The wine shows juicy red and dark fruit character with spice and a lively, approachable structure. Extended élevage in foudres and other vessels softens tannins and brings harmony, making this a fresh, fun and food‑friendly expression of the terroir.
