Pierre et Marianne Duroché is the négociant project of Domaine Duroché, created by Pierre Duroché to extend his approach beyond the domaine’s own vineyards through carefully selected fruit from trusted growers. The focus remains tightly aligned with the estate philosophy, with an emphasis on vineyard provenance, balanced fruit and minimal intervention in the cellar. Rather than a volume driven négociant model, the project is small in scale and highly selective, aiming to reflect the character of each site with the same level of precision and restraint seen in the domaine wines.

This Gevrey Chambertin Négoce cuvée is sourced from village level parcels within the appellation, offering a classic expression of Pinot Noir shaped by the mix of limestone and clay soils typical of Gevrey. The wine sits stylistically between accessibility and structure, capturing the darker fruit profile and firmer backbone associated with the village while remaining open and finely tuned. Vinification follows a controlled, low intervention approach, with careful extraction to preserve clarity and avoid overworking the fruit. Elevage takes place in French oak barrels with a restrained use of new oak, ensuring integration and balance rather than overt influence. The wine shows red and dark cherry, raspberry and wild strawberry, with floral lift, gentle spice and a light earthy note. The palate is supple yet structured, with fine tannins, fresh acidity and a composed, persistent finish that reflects both the identity of Gevrey and the precision of the Duroché approach.
