Another of Christian Boulanger and Mathieu Allante’s rare 2024 Gamay cuvées, made from fruit sourced in the Pierres Dorées, the limestone-rich southern reaches of Beaujolais. Vinified back in the Jura with their characteristically gentle approach, the wine combines the generosity of Gamay with the freshness and precision that define the domaine. Ripe cherry and wild raspberry meet violet, pepper and subtle earthy spice. The palate is juicy and beautifully fluid, with silky tannins, vibrant acidity and a fine mineral backbone. Fragrant and immediately appealing, yet with surprising depth and structure, finishing long, fresh and gently savoury.
