A rare Gamay from Beaujolais, sourced by Christian Boulanger and Mathieu Allante following the extremely difficult 2024 vintage in the Jura. Vinified back in their cellar with the same gentle, minimal-intervention approach as their own fruit, the wine is all about purity, energy and immediate pleasure. Bright raspberry, wild strawberry and juicy cherry are joined by violet, subtle pepper and a delicate earthy spice. The palate is almost weightless, with vibrant acidity, silky tannins and a wonderfully fluid texture. Fresh, fragrant and incredibly lively, with a savoury mineral edge running through the finish — Gamay given the unmistakably precise and energetic Boulanger & Allante treatment.
