Originally run by Reginaldo Cianferoni, Caparsa is a vineyard has been passed down to his son Paolo Cianferoni and his family: Gianna (his partner), Federico who works in the marketing, Filippo who is finishing his oenology studies, the youngest - Fiamma Flavio and Francesco. The winery is totally organic certified, both in the fields and in the cellar. Sangiovese is the main grape in Caparsa, which is located in Radda in Chianti area, maybe one of the most charming and beautiful areas in the world and one of the highest quality wines production areas too.
Purple in hue, it shows pure fruit, with blueberries and blackcurrant on a cherry base with fine spice. A hint of fig, leather and iron in the finish. Full-hardy but not overbearing, it is matured for the optimum time, exhibiting Tuscan modernity and tradition in equal measure.
