San Ferdinando’s estate spreads over 60 hectares in the heart of Tuscany in the area of Val di Chiana noted for its tradition of oil and wine production. The Grifoni family, inspired by the passion and by the respect for this land, purchased the farm in 1998.
The wine has aromas of sour cherries, raspberries, woody green herbs, and a hint of lavender. The palate is playful with refreshing acidity and very soft tannins giving the wine a juicy feel.

Winemaking Grapes are manually picked and sorted by a selection table. After destemming and light crushing, grapes are vinified in stainless steel tanks for 10-12 days at a controlled temperature. Maceration, fermentation and maturation take place in stainless steel tanks in order to preserve the grapes distinct characteristics.
