Made by Daniele & Dario, the fourth generation at this biodynamic Tuscan estate. Within the range they make a balanced mix of traditional Sangioveses along with experimental wines vinified in clay amphoras.
This Chianti is made from 100% Sangiovese, from a single plot of the estate's best vines. It spends one year in old barrels followed by a couple of years in the bottle before release. It's generous but restrained, has beautiful bright fruit and starting to show some development. Superb.

Winemaking Manual harvested, destemmed grapes fermented on skins for 20 dyas in concrete vats, pressed and raged in barells for a year, then a couple of years in bottle before release. Bottled with little solphite, unfiltred and unfined.
