Jacques Lassaigne established his eponymous Champagne house in 1972 in Chigny-les-Roses, Marne. Lassaigne farms 10 hectares across Premier and Grand Cru villages including Chigny-les-Roses, Cramant, and Avize. He is known for meticulous vineyard management with a focus on old vines, organic practices, and hand harvesting. All fermentations are with indigenous yeasts, using long élevage on lees in stainless steel, neutral oak, and a combination of cuves. Lassaigne avoids fining and filtration where possible, allowing pure terroir expression to emerge. The house is highly regarded for Champagnes that combine precision, minerality, and aromatic complexity with freshness and balance.

Champagne Millésimé 2015 comes from a selection of old-vine parcels in Chigny-les-Roses and surrounding Premier and Grand Cru sites. The 2015 vintage was cool and challenging, producing wines of delicate aromatics, precise acidity, and refined texture. Grapes were hand-harvested, pressed gently, and fermented with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel and neutral oak. Extended lees ageing enhanced texture and complexity, producing a precise, mineral-driven Champagne with subtle citrus and floral notes.
