Robert Moncuit is a family owned Champagne house based in the village of Le Mesnil‑sur‑Oger in the Côte des Blancs, France. The Moncuit family began purchasing vineyards here in 1889 and were bottling at their domaine by 1928, focusing almost exclusively on Chardonnay from their Grand Cru parcels in Le Mesnil and nearby Oger. Over successive generations the estate has built a reputation for mineral‑driven Blanc de Blancs Champagnes that combine precision, focus and expressive terroir character, produced with meticulous vineyard care and low intervention winemaking.
The Les Grands Blancs Grand Cru NV is made entirely from Chardonnay harvested by hand from the Moncuit family’s Grand Cru vineyards in Le Mesnil‑sur‑Oger and Oger. The base wines are fermented with a mix of stainless steel and older oak to build texture, blended across recent vintages and then subjected to secondary fermentation in bottle using Méthode Champenoise. Extended lees ageing before disgorgement gives fine, persistent mousse and depth of flavour.
