Dujac Fils & Père sits within the extended project of Domaine Dujac in Morey Saint Denis, one of the most influential estates in modern Burgundy. Founded by Jacques Seysses in the late 1960s, the domaine became known for reintroducing whole cluster fermentation at scale in the Côte de Nuits, shifting the stylistic conversation toward more aromatic, perfumed and textural expressions of Pinot Noir at a time when extraction driven winemaking was dominant. That philosophy has been carried forward and refined by Jeremy Seysses, with a consistent focus on finesse, transparency and ageing potential. The Fils & Père négociant label extends this identity beyond owned vineyards, but remains tightly managed by the same team, using fruit selected from growers working to comparable standards. The interest in these wines comes from how clearly they echo the domaine signature, particularly the use of whole cluster and the resulting aromatic lift and fine, chalky tannic structure, while offering access to a broader range of village level sites.

This Chambolle Musigny comes from village level parcels within the appellation, where limestone rich soils and fine clay deposits produce the signature delicacy and aromatic perfume associated with Chambolle. The style is defined by finesse rather than density, with Pinot Noir showing red berry purity, floral lift and a fine, silken structure. In line with the Dujac approach, a proportion of whole cluster is typically used depending on vintage, contributing aromatic complexity and a gentle structural frame, while extraction is kept deliberately restrained to preserve elegance. Elevage takes place in French oak barrels with a restrained proportion of new oak, ensuring integration without masking the fruit. The wine shows red cherry, raspberry and wild strawberry, with rose petal, violet florals and subtle spice. The palate is supple and finely detailed, with silky tannins, fresh acidity and a long, graceful finish that reflects both the delicacy of Chambolle Musigny and the stylistic signature of the Dujac team.
