Domaine Amiot-Servelle was founded in 2005 by Jean-Baptiste Amiot in Chambolle Musigny, following his studies in viticulture and oenology in Beaune. Amiot-Servelle works with 4 hectares in Chambolle Musigny and the surrounding villages, focusing on small parcels with diverse soils and microclimates. The estate is farmed organically with minimal intervention, hand-harvesting grapes, and using indigenous yeast fermentations. Wines are aged in French oak barrels, primarily older barrels, with minimal sulphur and no filtration or fining, highlighting precise terroir expression and village character.
Bourgogne Rouge 2021 comes from a selection of village and regional parcels around Chambolle Musigny, providing a lighter and approachable expression of Pinot Noir. The 2021 vintage yielded vibrant red berry aromatics, fresh acidity, and soft tannins. Grapes were hand-harvested, fermented with indigenous yeasts, and aged in older French oak barrels to highlight freshness and village character.
