Domaine Georges Noëllat is a Vosne Romanée based estate with deep roots in Burgundy, now led by Maxime Cheurlin, who has refined the domaine’s style toward greater precision and consistency while maintaining its traditional foundations. The estate holds parcels across key villages in the Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune, including Vosne Romanée, Nuits Saint Georges and Beaune, with a focus on careful vineyard management, controlled yields and meticulous harvest timing. In the cellar, the approach balances structure and polish, with measured extraction and élevage in French oak used to shape wines that are both approachable in youth and capable of ageing.

Beaune 1er Cru Les Tuvilains comes from a Premier Cru vineyard on the slopes above Beaune, where limestone rich soils with clay influence produce wines that balance structure with aromatic lift. Compared to the more powerful expressions of the Côte de Nuits, Beaune often shows a more open and supple profile, and Tuvilains sits toward the more refined end of the appellation, with a focus on elegance and clarity. In Noëllat’s hands, vinification is carried out with controlled extraction to preserve finesse while building gentle structure. Elevage takes place in French oak barrels with a moderate proportion of new oak, allowing integration while supporting the wine’s depth. The wine shows red cherry, raspberry and wild strawberry, with floral lift, subtle spice and a light earthy nuance. The palate is finely structured and balanced, with supple tannins, fresh acidity and a long, composed finish that reflects both the accessibility and precision of the site.
