Château Sainte Anne is a historic 15‑hectare estate in Bandol, Provence, managed by Françoise Dutheil de la Rochère and her son Jean‑Baptiste Dutheil. The vineyards are planted on steep terraced slopes of calcareous sandstone and clay‑limestone soils, facing southeast toward the Mediterranean. Many Mourvèdre vines are 35‑85 years old, alongside Grenache and Cinsault. Farming has been organic and biodynamic since the 1960s, and the estate is a founding member of the Association des Vins Naturels. Harvesting is by hand, fermentations are spontaneous, red wines are aged long, sulphur use is minimal, and many cuvées are bottled unfined and unfiltered. Historic vaulted stone cellars built by the Oratory Fathers in the 16th century coexist with modern cellar facilities.

Bandol Rouge 2021 comes from Mourvèdre, Grenache, and Cinsault grown on clay‑limestone terraces. The vintage experienced intermittent heat and cooler nights, producing ripe, structured fruit with preserved acidity. Grapes were hand-harvested, destemmed, fermented with whole berries, macerated for 28 days, and aged 20 months in a combination of large foudres and older French oak barrels. The wine displays dark fruit, garrigue, and underbrush notes, with firm but supple tannins.
