Originally run by Reginaldo Cianferoni, Caparsa is a vineyard has been passed down to his son Paolo Cianferoni and his family: Gianna (his partner), Federico who works in the marketing, Filippo who is finishing his oenology studies, the youngest - Fiamma Flavio and Francesco. The winery is totally organic certified, both in the fields and in the cellar. Sangiovese is the main grape in Caparsa, which is located in Radda in Chianti area, maybe one of the most charming and beautiful areas in the world and one of the highest quality wines production areas too.
Cherry and raspberry aromas with floral notes and hints of marjoram. The palate is smooth and dry with a spicy mouthfeel, light to medium body and cherry and raspberry fruit flavours with bright acidity and well-intergrated tannins. The finish is long and filled with fruit and spicy flavours.
