Atance is a project created by Toni Sarrión, one of the key figures behind the revival of indigenous varieties in Valencia, particularly Bobal. Linked to the renowned Bodegas Mustiguillo estate, Atance was developed to explore the wider terroirs of Valencia beyond the small Pago El Terrerazo estate. The vineyards are located around Utiel-Requena and the inland areas of Valencia, at elevations of 700–800 metres on sandy, limestone-rich soils. Despite being only around 50km from the Mediterranean, the altitude and continental influences bring freshness and strong day-night temperature shifts, helping preserve acidity and balance in the wines.
Farming is certified organic, with a strong focus on native grape varieties such as Bobal, Merseguera, and Malvasía. In the cellar, the approach is relatively minimal, favouring freshness, bright fruit and drinkability over heavy extraction or oak influence. The wines have become known for offering exceptional value and a modern expression of Mediterranean Spain vibrant, mineral and full of energy, while helping redefine the reputation of Bobal as a serious fine wine grape.
Atance Brut Nature is a fresh, mineral sparkling wine from the high-altitude vineyards of Requena in Valencia. Fine bubbles carry notes of citrus peel, green apple and white flowers, alongside a subtle chalky salinity. Dry, vibrant and precise, the palate is driven by bright acidity and a clean, refreshing finish, an elegant, terroir-driven sparkling wine with excellent energy and drinkability.
