A distinctive expression of Assyrtiko from T-OINOS, grown on the island of Tinos in the Cyclades. The Clos Stegasta vineyard sits at around 450 metres altitude, where old granite soils, strong Aegean winds and the island's dry climate create demanding growing conditions. The vines are organically farmed, producing low yields of concentrated fruit.
Citrus, ripe lemon and white peach meet delicate floral notes, wild herbs and a subtle smoky character. The palate is textured and structured, with vibrant acidity, pronounced granitic minerality and a persistent saline finish. A precise and complex Assyrtiko, combining Mediterranean ripeness with remarkable freshness and considerable ageing potential.
