A beautifully intense, topped-up Savagnin from steep vineyards around 400m in Pupillin, rooted in grey marl and schist. Hand-harvested and partially destemmed, it ferments with indigenous yeasts before extended ageing in foudre and sandstone amphora, always kept topped up to preserve freshness. Citrus and yellow apple meet dried fruits, toasted nuts and subtle herbal notes. The palate is deep and textural yet wonderfully energetic, with vibrant acidity, pronounced salinity and a long mineral finish. A powerful, complex Savagnin that combines richness with the precision and freshness so characteristic of Julien Maréschal’s wines.
