Domaine Jeandaugé is a small family estate in the heart of Gascony, run by Sébastien Fezas, whose approach has helped redefine the region beyond its reputation for bulk wine and Armagnac. Farming organically and guided by biodynamic principles, the domaine works without herbicides or synthetic treatments, encouraging biodiversity and healthy soils across its vineyards. The focus is on producing expressive, energetic wines through indigenous fermentations, minimal intervention and little to no added sulphur, allowing each cuvée to reflect the freshness and generosity of the Gers landscape.

La Baie Rouge is sourced from organically farmed vineyards around Courrensan, where clay limestone soils and the cooling influence of the Atlantic help preserve freshness while allowing full phenolic ripeness. Fruit is harvested by hand before undergoing spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts and gentle extraction to maintain aromatic purity and supple tannins. The wine is matured in neutral vessels to preserve the character of the fruit and the vineyard rather than introducing oak influence. Bright black cherry, wild berries and plum are layered with violet, Mediterranean herbs and cracked pepper, while the palate is juicy, vibrant and finely textured, finishing with the freshness and easy drinkability that have become hallmarks of Domaine Jeandaugé.
