A profound Chardonnay from 90-year-old vines in the village of Maynal, rooted in red marl beneath limestone scree. Christian Boulanger and Mathieu Allante took over this parcel in 2005, previously worked by Jean-François Ganevat. Fermentation is spontaneous, followed by 24 months on the fine lees in old demi-muids, giving the wine remarkable depth and texture. Citrus zest and pale stone fruit meet subtle reduction, smoky notes and a distinctly salty mineral character. The palate is powerful yet tightly structured, with fine creaminess balanced by vibrant acidity and a gripping mineral tension. Complex, energetic and intensely saline, with a long, persistent finish.

Orders placed Mon–Fri before 12pm are processed the same day subject to stock availability. Please note that we hold a wide selection of wines and stock levels can vary by bottle; as a result, an additional day may occasionally be required to restock before dispatch.
On delivery day, you’ll receive a text message from our courier with a 1-hour delivery window.
