Nestled within the picturesque landscapes of the Langhe hills in Piemonte, Berri stands as a quaint hamlet on the western fringes of La Morra, near the meandering Tanaro river. It marks the farthest reaches of the renowned Barolo region. In 2007, Nicola, alongside his father Federico and friend Vladimiro, seized an opportunity, acquiring approximately 5 hectares (12.5 acres) of land dedicated solely to crafting Barolo wines. Thus, the Trediberri winery came into existence.
Their first vintage debuted in 2011, marking the beginning of a journey that now encompasses 10.5 hectares (26 acres) of vineyards. Alongside the original Berri Cru vineyards, encompassing 5 hectares (12 acres), the estate boasts 2.8 hectares (7 acres) spread across the esteemed Crus of Rocche dell’Annunziata and Torriglione.
Their ''classic'' Barolo has been a blend of different vineyards until 2017 and it has always tried to represent the typical character of La Morra, in particular its drinkability and its finesse. This wine has never been extremely alcoholic or full-bodied, rather more characterized by a “weightless” power and freshness. Henceforth it doesn’t need a long time in the bottle to be joyfully consumed. Its perfect pairings are goat cheeses, gnocchi with cheese, fondue, braised meat
