New Zealander Dane Johns started his career in wine working for Bill Downie in Victoria, later moving on to start his own label with fruit sourced from just a few organic growers throughout the region. All of Dane’s wines are as hand-made as can be. Small ferments, wild yeast, no new oak, no mechanical pumps, no fining, no filtration and no additions.
A complex yet easy drinking light(er) red with great structure, harmony between fruit, minerality and acidity.

Winemaking Manual harvested, each grape fermented separately in stainless steel, Both varieties were fermented using a semi liquid carbonic method that I have been refining for the past 8 years and now feel I have a good understanding of. This method allows good extraction of flavour and phenolics while keeping the wine on a leaner the side of things as opposed to over extracting tannins and overtly “fruit forward” flavours. Unfiltred and unfined and no added SO2.

All orders are shipped via UPS Express Delivery. The estimated delivery time is between 3 to 8 working days from the moment of processing.
We offer shipping to all the countries mentioned above for a flat fee of £18.99 per order, regardless of size or weight. Unfortunately, we cannot offer free shipping to these countries.
Due to internal regulations, we are unable to ship our wines to Sweden or Finland.
As an international customer, we will not charge you UK VAT or taxes. However, based on your country's regulations, you will need to pay customs and handling fees, which are generally around 20%.

Although we ship regularly to these countries, we are unable to provide a fixed cost for shipping due to constant rate changes. Please contact us for a bespoke quote.

We use only sustainable, recycled and recycling packaging that provides the highest standard of protection to the bottles. When possible, your wine is delivered in reused but reliable packaging that significantly helps the environment and also keeps down unnecessary costs, allowing the wines to do the talking.
