Jérôme Blin is an independent grower based in Vincelles, in the Marne Valley, where his family has cultivated vines for several generations. He established his own Champagne label in 2010 and has been certified organic since 2013. Today, Jérôme farms around three hectares, predominantly planted with Meunier, alongside Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. His approach focuses on organic viticulture, careful vineyard management and minimal intervention in the cellar. Fermentations are carried out with indigenous yeasts, and dosage is kept low. The resulting Champagnes are characterised by ripe fruit, freshness and a balanced structure, reflecting the clay-limestone soils of the Marne Valley.
A single-vineyard Champagne from Jérôme Blin, based in Vincelles in the Marne Valley. La Varoce reflects his approach to parcel-specific winemaking, with a focus on expressing the character of the vineyard through careful farming and restrained cellar work.
Red apple, citrus and ripe orchard fruit meet delicate floral notes, subtle spice and a touch of brioche. The palate is finely textured, with fresh acidity, precise bubbles and a savoury, mineral finish. An elegant and characterful grower Champagne, combining generous fruit with freshness and structure.
