The estate was founded in 1978. Daniel Tissot, son of long-standing winemaking family in Jura, has been making wine and winning medals in the Côtes de Buzet since 1980. In 1997 the estate was taken over by his daughter Magali and her boyfriend Ludovic. In 2003, the transition to converting the winery to biodynamics began, to reduce the doses of copper and sulphur used; this was also the year the first manual harvest took place. In 2005 the winery was certified biodynamic.

A garnet-hued wine mellowed in old oak foudres, developing striking prune and leather aromas after several years in the bottle.
