Champagne Hugues Godmé

Hugues Godmé is an independent grower‑producer in the Montagne de Reims section of Champagne based in Verzenay. The estate has been farmed organically since 2006 with organic certification in 2013 and biodynamic certification in 2014, and it comprises around 7.5 hectares of Grand Cru and Premier Cru vineyards across villages including Verzenay, Verzy, Villers Marmery and Villedommange. Hugues works with his daughter Lucille and uses manual harvesting, indigenous yeasts and minimal intervention in the cellar to allow the character of parcel and vintage to show in each cuvée. Their range includes Grand Cru Blanc de Noirs made entirely from Pinot Noir fruit sourced from the top sites in Verzenay and Verzy.
