Domaine Amiot-Servelle was founded in 2005 by Jean-Baptiste Amiot in Chambolle Musigny, following his studies in viticulture and oenology in Beaune. Amiot-Servelle works with 4 hectares in Chambolle Musigny and the surrounding villages, focusing on small parcels with diverse soils and microclimates. The estate is farmed organically with minimal intervention, hand-harvesting grapes, and using indigenous yeast fermentations. Wines are aged in French oak barrels, primarily older barrels, with minimal sulphur and no filtration or fining, highlighting precise terroir expression and village character.
Chambolle Musigny 1er Cru Les Charmes 2020 comes from mid-slope limestone and clay soils of Les Charmes, one of Chambolle Musigny’s most aromatic and floral premier cru vineyards. Les Charmes is renowned for producing wines of elegance and silkiness, with refined tannins and bright red fruit. The 2020 vintage offered balanced warmth and freshness, yielding perfumed cherry and raspberry aromas. Grapes were hand-harvested, fermented with indigenous yeasts, and aged 14 months in French oak barrels, producing a wine of finesse, aromatic lift, and a supple textured finish.
