Benoit Courault is a natural wine producer based in Faye d’Anjou in the Loire Valley, who established his domaine in 2006 after training and gaining experience in Burgundy and at Domaine de l’Anglore in Tavel. He farms organically and biodynamically on schist and brown sandy soils with a deep respect for living soil, using herbal teas, compost and animal traction in the vineyards as well as minimal intervention in the cellar. His wines are spontaneous fermentations with native yeasts and reflect purity, energy and a strong sense of place.

P’it Chemin Sec 2024 is a dry white made from 100 % Chenin Blanc grown on schist and brown sand soils in Anjou. The grapes are hand harvested and gently pressed, then fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged on fine lees for an extended period before bottling without fining or filtration. The wine is bright and mineral with ripe orchard fruit, saline freshness and a round texture that reflects the precision and terroir influence of the domaine’s natural approach.
