Arianna’s home town of Vittoria lies in the far south of Sicily just to the west of Ragusa. It is here that she has been making wine for the past ten years under the tutelage of her uncle, Giusto Occhipinti who owns and runs the famous COS estate.
Contrada PT (Pettineo) is Arianna Occhipinti’s most refined expression of Frappato, sourced from old vines rooted in sandy, limestone-influenced soils. The wine is defined by its lightness and quiet intensity, with fragrant red fruit, floral lift and a fine mineral thread. Silky and precise, it carries a sense of tension and elegance, offering a more introspective, site-driven interpretation of the variety.
