I Cacciagalli is a biodynamic estate located in the Alto Casertano, at the foot of the extinct Roccamonfina volcano in northern Campania. Founded by Diana Iannaccone and Marco Rascio, the estate was created with the ambition of restoring the agricultural heritage of the area through a diverse, self sustaining farm that combines vines, olive trees, orchards and biodiversity. Working exclusively with local varieties, the domaine farms organically and biodynamically, with a deep respect for the volcanic landscape. In the cellar, fermentations are spontaneous, wines are often aged in terracotta amphora and there is no clarification or filtration, allowing the energy and mineral character of the terroir to shine through.

Zagreo is a pure expression of Fiano, sourced from biodynamically farmed vineyards on the volcanic soils surrounding Roccamonfina. The grapes are hand harvested before undergoing spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts and an extended maceration of around two months on the skins in terracotta amphora. The wine then continues ageing in the same vessels, allowing texture, complexity and mineral character to develop while preserving the natural freshness of the variety. Aromas of white flowers, citrus peel and ripe apple are layered with wild herbs, chamomile, toasted nuts and volcanic minerality. The palate is rich and textured yet lifted, with gentle phenolic structure, bright acidity and a long, savoury finish that reflects both the ancient grape variety and the volcanic origins of the vineyard.
