Substance – Naturally made Non-Alcoholic Wines

The creation of Myrko Tépus and Nicolas de Groot, is a lightly sparkling naturally fermented drink without alcohol.
Inspired by vignerons, the label aims to deliver beverages with the complexity, texture and aromatic depth of fine wine, but just without booze. Myrko, who produces wines in the Gorges du Verdon from naturally farmed vineyards, brings the same high standards across to this project.
The drinks are made from spring water sourced in the Verdon Gorge, infused with high grade organic Sencha green tea, organic Menton lemon zest and Provençale saffron. Fermentation is guided by a mother culture of yeast and bacteria, producing both natural carbonation and depth. Carefully filtered but unfined, with no added sulphites, Substance is refined, textured and gastronomic, a true expression from a natural winemaker.
Mass produced non alcoholic wines are more often than not, ultra processed lacking the depth, character and the subtlety of natural fermentation.
This is why Sip Wines was relucatant to stock non alcoholic wines in the past. In Substance however, we believe we've found something different. It's low intervention approach and respect for natural ingredients mean we have finally found a product we are proud to offer, alongside our core range of low invention and artisanal wine.
