Christian Boulanger and Mathieu Allante took over this parcel in 2005, previously worked by Jean-François Ganevat. Fermentation is spontaneous, followed by 24 months on the fine lees in old demi-muids, giving the wine remarkable depth and texture. Citrus zest and pale stone fruit meet subtle reduction, smoky notes and a distinctly salty mineral character. The palate is powerful yet tightly structured, with fine creaminess balanced by vibrant acidity and a gripping mineral tension.
