The 45 plus year old vines are planted on clay limestone soils with a strong limestone dominance, giving the wine a distinctly Puligny like mineral character despite its Bourgogne appellation. It is bright and focused, combining lemon, green apple and white peach with a fine, chalky texture and savoury finish.
