The Frentana Winery in Rocca San Giovanni was one of the first Wine Growers Cooperatives in Abruzzo, founded towards the end of the 1950's. The modern wine making systems have been successfully and harmoniously integrated with the historical and architectural surroundings of the vineyard that is dominated by a large wine filled tower which gives the winery an extremely unique and original touch.
Plum-skin fruit allied to leathery warmth with an all-over chocolate finish. Montepulciano that is not afraid to be big and bold.
