Pinot Noir Strangenberg, Domaine Pierre Frick 2020
Pierre Frick
Domaine Pierre Frick has been handed down throughout the family for twelve generations and now covers 12 ha of vineyards. It is managed by Jean-Pierre and Chantal Frick, and their son Thomas Frick.
At the forefront of the biodynamic movement Jean-Pierre Frick makes wines that are scrupulously natural.
Colour: bright garnet. Nose: subtle notes of ripe red fruits (raspberry jam, elderberries, enhanced by hints of violets, clove and toasted almonds. Generous, fresh and vivacious on the palate. Finish: ripe, well-integrated, yet firm tannins hemming in distinct flavours of redcurrant jam and blackcurrant and Morello cherry, yet a definitely saline impression tops off the finale.
